The Silver Shield Foundation is especially grateful for our police officers and firefighters during these unprecedented times and we are proud to play a part in supporting their families in time of need.
Provides educational support for children and surviving spouses of police officers and firefighters killed in the line of duty.
Their instinct is to rush toward danger when everyone else is running away. Sometimes police officers and firefighters don’t make it home.
What happens when it comes time for the children’s education?
Since 1982, the Silver Shield Foundation has taken responsibility for the education of over 900 children.
